How can the financial services sector contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)? 💰💡

An extensive mapping of the importance of various industries to the SDGs has been undertaken to understand how different industries create or destroy value for society, and what environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues create value for shareholders.

It found that the financial services sector has the highest impact on six SDGs. These are:

- #4 Quality Education

- #11 Sustainable Cities and Communities

- #9 Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure

- #7 Affordable and Clean Energy

- #1 No Poverty

- #10 Reduced Inequalities
