givvable Raises A$1.7 Million Pre-Series A to Scale Supplier Intelligence for the AI Era

givvable, a plug-in supplier data and intelligence platform used for responsible and sustainable sourcing, today announced the close of a A$1.7 million pre-Series A funding round.

The platform covers over 8 million suppliers and 3,000 credentials, with more than 90,000 supplier searches conducted every day. givvable has over 70 enterprise clients across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and the United States, including Amazon, San Miguel, Flight Centre, Red Bull and Globe Telecom.

The round was supported by Admiralty Capital Group, Barker Street Ventures, EPIC Angels, and a group of new and existing Family Offices and staff investors.

“Supplier intelligence is fast becoming foundational infrastructure for procurement, and givvable sits right at the centre of it. We’ve been hugely impressed by the company’s global traction, winning blue-chip enterprise clients across multiple markets while tackling one of the hardest problems in the category — verified supplier data across Asia. As procurement teams build deeper datasets to understand the real ESG impact of their supply chains, givvable is exactly the trusted intelligence layer that work will depend on.”

Stuart Haslam, Partner, Admiralty Capital Group

The timing of the raise is deliberate. Enterprise procurement and operational teams are racing to build AI agents and intelligent data architectures, and have quickly discovered that for their supply chains, high-quality, independent, external supplier intelligence is critical. Significant gaps exist, particularly in Asia: a region that almost every supply chain touches, and where 57% of the global manufacturing base resides, yet where reliable supplier data has historically been the hardest to acquire.

givvable executed this raise to ensure its clients have the data foundation, across the markets that matter, to make AI work in practice and not just in theory. Funds will be deployed across two strategic priorities that together address both sides of this challenge.

The first targets the accelerating shift to AI-powered procurement.

Organisations are building proprietary data architectures and deploying AI agents to drive sourcing decisions, but those systems are only as good as the external data flowing into them. givvable seeks to become that trusted external intelligence layer, and will use the raise to build out the distribution infrastructure to meet that demand: through partner integrations, enterprise data lake connectivity, and AI agent pipelines that sit behind the procurement and supply chain decisions of the world’s most responsible organisations.

The second addresses the data gap that limits what those AI systems can actually see.

Asian suppliers exist in almost every global supply chain, yet the data is among the hardest to acquire. The traditional approach of buyer-driven surveys and questionnaires has consistently failed to solve it. This raise enables givvable to scale its unique supplier engagement model further across the region, building on an approach that has already achieved 90% supplier engagement rates in Asia, to deliver verified and structured supplier intelligence that AI-powered systems need to operate at their best.

“Organisations that own their data and combine it with external intelligence to leverage AI tools will be the ones making smarter and faster operational decisions in the future. This raise accelerates our ability to deliver that in a way that is more accessible to clients and their supplier networks than ever before.”
