Australians drink ALOT of coffee. 6 billion cups a year, in fact! BUT ... only 7% of spent coffee grounds are re-purposed or recycled, while 93% gets sent to landfill.

This is a problem because of the amount of greenhouse gases spent coffee grounds emit when they are left to decompose in landfill.

This is a waste of a valuable resource. Spent coffee grounds are rich in nutrients and minerals that can be re-purposed or recycled for many different uses.
