Office of the Australian Anti-Slavery Commissioner's Strategic Plan Launched

The Plan

The Office of the Australian Anti-Slavery Commissioner’s Strategic Plan 2025-2028 was launched in October 2025.

The Plan outlines 4 key priorities:

  1. Transforming systems to centre survivors and people with lived experience
  2. Strengthening law and policy
  3. Driving business and government towards better due diligence
  4. Improving access to justice and remedy

Specifically, they plan to engage with reporting entities to increase action and ambition by adopting effective due diligence processes and to promote measures that support business entities to identify high risk goods.
